Maybe you can't tell a book by its cover, but you can certainly tell a driver by his car. At least you can in the case of Ricky Schumaker and his Honda Accord.

"RIX RYD," the plates read, and that about sums up this fourth-year UVA student.

Sports team? A Florida Marlins plate holder frames the letters.

Favorite school? UVA stickers adorn the car– back, left, and right.

Outdoorsy or in? "The sunroof's my favorite feature," Schumaker says.

Reckless driver? "It has a few dings here and there," says Schumaker, "but I've been really careful ever since I almost blew up my engine."
