Not P.C. part II
In last week's Savage Love column [02/14/02], Dan Savage's use of the word "faggot" really bothered me. I know that this is a syndicated column, and I think it fits very well in The Hook, but I would like to think that there is some editorial discretion on your end. Faggot is a word that has no connotation other than a hurtful one to gay men. In fact, I believe that Mr. Savage is gay, so I'm not sure why he would even think to use the term so loosely. At any rate, I just wanted to let you know that I found this offensive.
