Pat Mitchell, the first woman President and CEO of PBS, was in town last month to give a presentation at the Darden School of Business. When she accepted the office, Mitchell stated her intention to visit every PBS station in the country, and she took the opportunity of her Darden talk to visit Charlottesville’s PBS channel WHTJ. WHTJ community advisory board members and media studies majors threw a reception for Mitchell at UVA’s Colonnade Club on March 26.
