Goode holds back on endorsing McCain

by Lindsay Barnes

Capitol Hill publication The Hill reports today that Rep. Virgil Goode (R-Rocky Mount) is one of 14 congressional Republicans that has yet to publicly express support for their party’s presumptive nominee for president, Sen. John McCain (AZ). Goode and McCain have had strong differences of opinion on several issues, most notably on immigration policy. Reached for comment on the matter, Goode press secretary Linwood Duncan said, “[Goode]’s only statement on this issue is that he has at this point endorsed nobody in any races.” Asked if Goode planned on making such an endorsement Duncan replied, “I can’t answer that right now.”

    Representative Virgil Goode ,
witholding endorsement on behalf of his Heritage of Hate-
“nativist,” constituents of the Fifth District,
    knows this group well.(Bush’s Former-28%.)
Between now and Election Day, many more of them
will swallow their ignorant pride, and accept
that the G.O.P.’s job is to crash the economy
so that the super-rich can pick up businesses and assets
    for pennies on the dollar.
That top 1% has no country or “homeland.”
I’d look for Virgil to renounce his Party again,
    or flee the area.

If it means having to do anything at all, one suspects ol’ Virgil won’t do it. He’s too busy doing nothing up there on Capitol Hill except counting his money. We’re all suckers for electing such a do-nothing Congressman.

Robert you need a dose of your own medicine…

You sir are a prejudice hatemonger who must not know anything about
the economy and why most people who vote for the GOP. Facts are on our side. It was Reagan who started the great economic machine we have.
Clinton only was lucky enough to take office when it was still going strong.
Do you want to know what is slowing the economy down ? Gas prices !!

You may want to give credit where credit is due to Al Gore and his global warming campaign the next time you fill your car with gasoline, because there is a direct connection between Global Warming and four dollar a gallon gas. It is shocking, but true, to learn that the entire Global Warming frenzy is based on the environmentalist’s attack on fossil fuels, particularly gasoline. All this big time science, international meetings, thick research papers, dire threats for the future; all of it, comes down to their claim that the carbon dioxide in the exhaust from your car and in the smoke stacks from our power plants is destroying the climate of planet Earth. What an amazing fraud; what a scam.

And to Zydeco…you may call me a suckerer too. But to call Goode a do nothing congressman who only acts in his best interest is a fool.
You either don’t know the facts or ignore them …
