Staggering man stabs self?

Police are now saying the gut-wounded man found Tuesday afternoon lurching near Buford Middle School may have injured himself, the Daily Progress reports. A note found in his Orangedale Avenue home and the lack of cuts in his clothing raised suspicions that his wounds were self inflicted. The man, who has not been identified, underwent surgery at UVA Medical Center.
