UVA finds 10 percent of Virginians are foreign born

A recently study by UVA’s Weldon Cooper Center reveals that one out of every 10 Virginians was born outside the United States. According to the survey, the most common countries of origin among the Old Dominion’s immigrant population are El Salvador, Mexico, Korea, the Philippines, and India.
