Beleaguered Hollywood Video closed its Charlottesville store at Barracks Road March 15, NBC29 reports, and its space in the north wing of the shopping center will be occupied by Anthropologie. Attempts to get anyone to answer the phone at parent company Hollywood Entertainment in Wilsonville, Oregon, were unsuccessful.

The 16-year-old who shot Dani Howard, 22, and left her to die on a Gordonsville street in February 2006 was sentenced to life in prison today, the Daily Progress reports. Gary Christopher Johnson, a.k.a. G-Money, was convicted in December of murdering Howard during the course of stealing drugs, money and a gun from his cousin, who was Howard’s boyfriend, and fleeing in her minivan.NYC would-be models panic

The Doc says: “Results converge on a conclusion that some aspects of age-related cognitive decline begin in healthy, educated adults when they are in their 20s and 30s. There is some good news, though. The report states that abilities based on accumulated knowledge, such as performance on tests of vocabulary or general information, increase until at least the age of 60.” So accumulate knowledge! Don’t waste your life trying to seem youthful. Enjoy the aging process or live a lie…
