Darrell David Rice, who violated the conditions of his probation following a decade in prison for attempted kidnapping, was sentenced to an additional nine months behind bars on Tuesday, April 7 in federal court. Rice was charged with repeatedly watching soft-porn on cable and smoking marijuana; abstaining from both were conditions of his probation.

If they took a strand of his hair and tested that, they might find out if he was doing more than marijuana. I wonder if they have given him the genitle test lately? I highly doubt he would pass that one.

What test are you referring to?

  • Ankle Monitor April 15th, 2009 | 10:59 am

You can drug test the hair, many drugs leave the body quickly, marijuana does not.
There is a test he has failed that tests his reaction to violent pornography. Apparently he still gets excited at the thought and visions of women being hurt. Part of his original probation was that he had to take the test. To the best of my knowledge he has had the test and failed in the past. Penile plethysmography.

    Thanks for clarifying, Ankle Monitor.

No problem. I want to clarify for those that do not know about drug testing. Marijuana stays in your system for a long period of time where other drugs like cocaine are gone in a few days. Urine and blood tests will only detect what has been taken very recently. Testing the hair can go back many months.
For anyone interested in following the DDR case, I suggest you follow another article/blog as this one will end soon, for some reason only a few blogs continue.
