Good food, welcoming casual environment

John is always coming up with something great in the kitchen. Whenever we go we ask him to send us out three or four things he's particularly excited about that day. Last night we had seasoned panko breaded onion rings with ginger ketchup (the best onion rings I've ever had, thick slices of perfectly cooked [read: non slimy!] lightly fried heaven). Next we had tangerine shrimp that we asked for extra spicy (because we're crazy). The shrimp were plump, well cooked and BOUNTIFUL--no stingy shrimp plates here! The spicy tangerine sauce was excellent and the steamed vegetables were just as good. Finally we got to try John's edamame falafel with tahini yogurt sauce which was a delicious new take on traditional falafel. The edamame and chickpea mixture was incredibly creamy and light.

I highly recommend the Box--we love the food (it's pretty darn well priced, too), the drinks and the staff--and we always feel welcomed.
