Moby and the Dicks
(
1
)
Johnny: Moby and his Dicks are by far the most powerful musical force to come out of Charlottesville this millenium. Watch out, I took my girlfriend to one of their shows last fall and after Moby made eye contact with her she became pregnant!
Buzz- Dive in: Local singer-songwriter drops sultry, emotional debut
(

)
Jim: What a great article about Mariana Bell. Wait, what?
Bill: "tinged with punk-rock aesthetics?"
Menya
(
1
)
gaireee: Menya blows pretty hard. . . how the hell do they keep playing?
Emmylou Harris coming to Paramount
(
6
)
Gollum: S Jones: "We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!"
Avett Fan: Another great announcement yesterday: Avett Brothers playing the pavilion on October 17!
Tim Brown: When is the Paramount going to book Dr. John?
Stars and Stripes: The Paramount needs to book the great Gladys Knight. She was scheduled for an August date in the sweltering Pavilion a summer or two ago, and the show was cancelled. I think it was a bad match of venue to artist. Please Paramount, try to get Gladys Knight -- the TRUE Queen of Soul.
geeode: Norman Blake would be a good show.
HollowBoy: Saw EmmyLou at the Paramount in 2004. Also remember when she played at the Prism Coffeehouse in the early 70s and people couldnt get in. Even then we saw how she was destined for greatness. Sadly the Prism is no more. Norman Blake may have played there too. I do remember seeing him at a concert at Walker School sometime in the early 80s....
Jennifer Kirkland and Bert Carlson

Jennifer Kirkland: $5.00 cover for this event
Speaking Of The Elephant
(

John: This band rocks! Definitley come see them because they are the future of improvisational music!
