The price given in the August 27 cover story, "Undaunted mystery: New push for answers 200 years after death of Meriwether Lewis," in a caption regarding "Locust Hill," the historic home of the tragic explorer, was outdated. The house is no longer listed by Frank Hardy realtors for $2 million. In April, Virginia Real Estate Partners listed the property for $1,595,000 and in June lowered the asking price to $1,495,000, which is where it now stands.

•The September 3 cover story "Off-Campus, at risk: The hidden fire danger for students," incorrectly stated the name of an Australian fire safety organization. It is the World Fire Safety Foundation.
