As part of the recent Preservation Week events, Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society President Steven Meeks led a tour of the old Albemarle County Jail. It's 2/10 of a mile from the Downtown Mall with a grassy yard and 18-foot walls. Nowhere to plug in a TV.
