But gray skies threatened to dampen music enthusiasts Thursday, July 25, at the final show of the Barracks Road Courtyard Concert Series. The upbeat tempo and lively showmanship of the Dixie Power Trio chased away the rain, however, and attendees got an earful of some wonderful Dixie swing.
This Courtyard Concert was a great way to spend a Thursday evening on my way home from work. Makes me wish I'd checked out some of this season's other performances. I'll surely be on the lookout for next year's line-up at Barracks Road. More information available at barracksroad.com.
