A whirlwind of events recently commemorated the life of Emily Couric, the Charlottesville legislator whose death last fall touched a community-- and a nation. Besides a new scholarship in her name, Couric's legacy will be felt at Venable School on 14th Street, where a memorial garden was dedicated on Saturday, June 29.
