* A comment from Ginny Reese in the July 4 "Books" column misidentified her affiliation. She's with the Greene County Library.

* In last week's news story about defections at the Shenandoah Valley Observer, the third staffer to quit en masse was misidentified. The person was advertising rep Tracy Gonzales. Also, in a section discussing other Valley papers, the two major dailies in the Valley should have been identified as Harrisonburg's Daily News-Record and Staunton's News Leader.
