PHOTOPHILE- Crafts in Crozet: Fun between the downpours

Published May 15, 2003, in issue #0219 of the Hook

BY REBECCA BEIRNE

The ever-popular Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival celebrated its 23rd Spring Show May 10 and 11 with its usual wide variety of artisans who set up shop for the weekend, selling their colorful and clever craft items to festival-goers. Of course the food vendors were plentiful, too, selling everything from North Carolina-style BBQ to crepes to chocolate-covered frozen bananas.

For a little background music, the Western Albemarle High School Jazz Band put on quite a show, entertaining the audience with their big band sound.
