Tia Brown: "A local grocery store hired me with experience as a cashier and started me out at $6/hour. Then they cut my pay 50 cents without any explanation."

Greg Allen: "Ooooh. The first job? What was minimum wage back in 1970? $3/hour? [It was actually $1.60-- editor.] I was a busboy in a restaurant back then. It was gas money for my dirt bike."
