* The construction date of the Patton mansion that UVA is saving on West Main Street was incorrect in an image caption with last week's cover story. As the story noted, the structure was built in 1907.

* The news story and caption about Brown's Mountain last week gave the wrong date for the final Kite Day. (Photophile, however, had it right: Saturday, May 29.)

* Readers may have been pleased to read Tim Sprinkle's "Walkabout" feature on National Trails Day twice in last week's issue, but next time we'll aim to run each story just once.
