I am saddened to see the city is still harassing Shirley Presley ["Quash game: How many subpoenas does a code violation need?" News, June 17].

Her only wish is that people stay off her private property. I would hope that as much time and effort will go into harassing real criminals.

A better story would be to examine the kind lady who lives on Bland Circle and what has driven her to this measure.

She has been living on a "razor's edge" every day with law-breaking criminals harassing her and trespassing on her property. Will they please leave her in peace? She is a senior citizen who deserves better treatment.
