Thank you for running the article about the new Planned Parenthood Center that opened recently on Hydraulic Road [July 12: "RU Ready? Abortion options widen with Jones"].

Women have the right to all of the myriad health care options available to them as well as safe contraceptive options and needed abortion services.

It's a very confused system indeed when many health care plans pay for Viagra but not for contraception. It's also very telling that the majority of protesters of women's health clinics are men who will never once in their lives have to deal with an unplanned pregnancy.

As Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, is quoted as saying, "No woman can call herself free until she can decide for herself whether and when to become a mother."

Our reproductive rights are not negotiable.
