LETTER- What about Presley's privacy?

Published November 18, 2004, in issue 0346 of the Hook

[Re: "Widow's peak: City's Rivanna Trail case crumbles," November 4]:

I feel that you have violated the rights and privacy of this woman by printing personal information not necessary to the article. Not only have you put this information out there, you have put this poor woman in danger. You listed her name and address. I do not feel that this is responsible reporting at any level.

Not only that, I would be terribly offended by the statement that she was caring for her husband dying of Alzheimer's disease. She was indeed caring for her husband, but a husband who was living with Alzheimer's disease.

I can only hope that you get many negative responses to this article and that you will be able to reflect on the violation of this poor woman's privacy.
