Valley Park Mint Springs is not a new Albemarle County Park, despite a sign pointing to what's been known as Mint Springs Valley Park.

"We have not renamed the park," says Bob Crickenberger, deputy director at Albemarle's parks and recreation. He points the finger at the Virginia Department of Transportation, which recently installed the sign. Plans are to contact VDOT and request a replacement, says Crickenberger.
