Shela Silverman's feedback concerning the current operations of On Our Own of Charlottesville was surprising, to say the least. [May 6 letter: "Drop-in Center no "flophouse"].

While I always encourage feedback from anyone in the community we serve, I will not dignify with a reply judgment statements concerning me and my staff from anyone who does not have the common decency to approach us first.

I urge Silverman to see first hand what On Our Own of Charlottesville has become. For that matter, I encourage anyone who has any interest in what we do to "drop in." Everyone is welcome.
