In reading the article about local psychic Noreen Renier, I became extremely disappointed in the Charlottesville police squad.

We've got a serial rapist in our town who's been here for many years, and Charlottesville's finest can't seem to track him down.

We also have a local psychic who's solved several national cases and wants to help Charlottesville for free.

Why would the Charlottesville police not take her up on her offer? We have nothing to lose by engaging her services, and everything to gain.

Charlottesville Dragnet, get your eyes off re-runs of Hill Street Blues and CSI, and give the psychic her chance.

So what if it doesn't work? At least you gave the citizens of Charlottesville, especially the female population, all you got.
