Dear Readers,

Thanks for not being cross because we didn't choose any of your suggestions for a new name for our totally revamped personal ads. Interested readers will recall we held a contest, received a lot of submissions (many of them knee-slappingly funny), and printed the long list in last week's edition.

But we picked another name. The name is meant to evoke a place-- a fun place where people can hang out, chat-- maybe get together.
