Chee Kludt Rickets, “Autumn Sunflowers.”

The Arts Center in Orange hosts a one-day workshop, “The Magic of Watercolors,” taught by artist Chee Kludt Ricketts, whose work is currently on view int the Art Center’s exhibit, “Gardens and Landscapes of Virginia.” Designed for beginning and intermediate painters, this four-hour workshop addresses the basics of composition, how to lay in washes, and methods for “saving the lights.” Bring a bag lunch.
