The Virginia Film Society presents the Black Maria Film & Video Festival

The Virginia Film Society, which is now screening its programming at The Paramount, presents selections from the 2010 Black Maria Film & Video Festival, an annual touring collection of cutting-edge short films. This year the Black Maria features Eva Weber’s The Solitary Life of Cranes, Danielle Ash’s Pickles for Nickels, Patricia McInroy’s Found: Nothing Missing, and Darius Clark Monroe’s Train. The Paramount, 215 E. Main St. on the Downtown Mall. 979-1922.
