The University of Virginia Art Museum invites entries for its annual “Writer’s Eye” competition. Prose and poetry submissions inspired by selected works currently on show at the Museum are welcome and will be judged in the following divisions: 3-5 grade; 6-8 grade; high school; and university/adult. Writer’s Eye tours may be arranged in advance. Winners will be honored at a spring awards ceremony and will have their work included in the annual Writer’s Eye anthology.
