As the former drummer of The Band, you’d think that Levon Helm would be content enough with his legacy to relax after taking a hit as troublesome as throat cancer. Instead, he bounced back earlier last year with a triumphant folk album called Dirt Farmer which won a Grammy in the Traditional Folk Album category this past February.
