The leading local indie rock bands bid farewell to Satellite. Of special note is local guitarist Adam Smith, who will be performing with both Truman Sparks and his solo project, the Invisible Hand. Drummer Adam Brock of The Nice Jenkins promises “a big f*ck you rock show where we will all hate on CVS… and it should be incredible.”

In fact, both the Jenkins and Truman Sparks have decided to give away band merchandise in a raffle to be held at the door; turn in a CVS ExtraCare shopper’s discount card with your name on it for a chance to win the free schwag. (And then, presumably, go shop somewhere else.)
