In June 2007, the property was transferred from the Roman Catholic diocese of Richmond (Bishop Walter Sullivan), which bought the property in 1984 for $145,000, to the Dominican Fathers of Charlottesville for $500,000. Mulcahy says there are no immediate plans to build anything on the site.
