Snap: The new Martha Jefferson

The new 84-acre campus of Martha Jefferson Hospital gleams in the morning light of a recent autumn day, as captured by pilot-photographer Skip Degan. A year after a major merger, the venerable institution unveiled a slew of patient comforts and moved the patients from Locust Avenue to the new site east of Charlottesville in the Peter Jefferson office park.

Now I understand why I'm totally lost when I drive in to one of the MJH buildings. Fabulous photograph !

Mountaintop removal, Albemarle County style.
A true paradise for the automobile.
I wish Skip could get an overhead view of the former Martha Jefferson campus

Sure does bring a whole new meaning to the request, "I would prefer to be transported to MJH!"
