When this picture was snapped May 14, nine people– seven of them Republican– were vying for the seemingly ho-hum position of lieutenant governor. By May 18, the GOP had picked its nominee, Reverend E.W. Jackson. The Dems still have two candidates seeking the party's nod in the June 11 primary, and one of them is Aneesh Chopra, pictured here, whom President Barack Obama appointed the first United States chief technology officer. Chopra was in town for a meet-and-greet at EscafĂ©.
