One of the best ways to spend the day in the great outdoors. Fun for old and young alike. My husband's Dad skied until he was 84.

No trees on the slopes. Wear a helmet in case you veer off course.

World's oldest skier

"Kiezo Miura, the legendary Japanese skier who went for a 99th birthday run down the Vallee Blanche last year, will tomorrow ski for his 100th birthday in Snowbird, Utah. He is reckoned to be the world's oldest skier, but no doubt that claim will be challenged by some Scandinavian superhuman!

Kiezo is the father of Yuichiro Miura, who was the first man to ski Everest and starred in a superb movie in the process."

Sonny Bono skied until he was 62.

Looks like great fun!! Are there many trees?
