The topsoil and mulch business located at the confluence of Routes 240 and 250 in Western Albemarle gleams in morning light. Photo of John W. Clayton & Son (est. 1940) shot March 27.
I think I have only left negative comments on this website, so I'll be making my first positive one today: I really enjoy the snapshots you all have been putting up...our local culture/atmosphere is really beautiful and it is nice that it is here for all to see.

Now this is a business that fits spendidly into our picturesque rural landscape. 250 in Albemarle County is still one of the most beautiful drives around, let us all make sure it isn't ruined.
