Snap: Remaking the crosswalks
A contractor jack-hammers out a cobblestoney set of concrete pavers Wednesday, December 16, installed as part of an early 1990s Corner district overhaul. The city is now overhauling many crosswalks with thick white bands and–- in some cases–- embedded, self-service lights. (That's St. Paul's Memorial Church in the background.)
