Snap: Walkin' the tracks

Two people use the CSX/Buckingham Branch train tracks to travel between Ridge Street–- vantage point for this September 29 photo–- toward the heart of downtown. As some students learned the hard way last year during a crackdown by the Charlottesville Police (which has gained a reputation for ticketing pedestrians, even when hit or nearly hit by police cars), this stroll could be construed as trespassing.
