Snap: Crane for Rice Hall

news-craneoveruva-ricehallUVA's engineering school is getting a new information technology building in the form of Rice Hall, a six-story LEED-certified building next door to Scott Stadium and one which, UVA contends, Mr. Jefferson would have approved. Looks like the same crane that was recently used on the now abandoned downtown mall hotel.

Well, they all do look alike, but that baby blue crane belongs to Miller & Long, a DC-based construction company. Miller & Theys was responsible for the other crane.
