Zim catches some political spin?

President Obama’s opening day pitch to the National’s Ryan Zimmerman turned out to be a metaphor fest, as the President showed his desire for bipartisan consensus by sporting a Nationals warm-up jacket and Chicago White Sox cap (Obama is an outspoken White Sox fan), and delivering a pitch, left handed, that was high, wild and leaning left. What does it all mean? Obama supporters and Tea Party activists should have a field day.

The dude is left-handed. I’m surprised more hasn’t been made of that fact.

    A second post was necessary?

Say what you want about George W. Bush, but after 9/11 in Yankee Stadium he grooved a fastball right down the middle of the plate. Amazing moment!

The only thing that pitch proved is that Obama throws like a jabroni

Chris, yes I remember that moment well. Never voted republican and likely never will; lifelong Yankees fan.

I don’t recall being more proud of a President than that moment. It took some cojones and he threw a strike while millions watched.

The Yanks responded by winning three straight at home. Twice down to their last strike and behind by two runs. Two times in a row. Although they lost the series, the games and the series itself did alot to remind us how great this country is. And George W. Bush, love him or hate him, was a big part of that.

It is too bad Bush did not stick to something he could do well.
