The Frontier Culture Museum hosts Old-Fashioned Fun on the 4th. Activities include 19th century contests, games, animals, tours, a noon reading of the Declaration of Independence, and lots of good old-fashioned fun. Plus: the first kite flying frenzy at the Museum. Jeff May from Flyin’ High Flags and Kites will be here and have stunt kite flying demonstrations, opportunities for the kids to fly kites, and a kite coloring contest.  Rt. 250 west in Staunton. 540-332-7850.
