The Virginia political season got its annual kickoff at the 61st annual Shad Planking in Wakefiled on Wednesday, April 15. Democratic gubernatorial candidates Terry McAuliffe and Brian Moran as well as Republican candidate Bob McDonnell were on hand to eat fish, drink beer, and engage in good-natured ribbing. A who’s who of Commonwealth politics turned out, and the Hook was there to bring the party to you.
