Two people use the CSX/Buckingham Branch train tracks to travel between Ridge Street— vantage point for this September 29 photo— toward the heart of downtown. As some students learned the hard way last year during a crackdown by the Charlottesville Police (which has gained a reputation for ticketing pedestrians, even when hit or nearly hit by police cars), this stroll could be construed as trespassing.
