Tomorrow, Crush welcomes Ellen Taylor from the Henry Wine Group.

“Ellen is one of our favorites due to the abundance of great wine she represents and her sparkling personality,” says Crush’s Gregg Oxley. ” She is also famous for her quote, “When life hands you lemons, grab a bottle of tequila, some salt and a lime and invite me over.”

Here are the featured wines, with descriptions from Mr. Oxley. As always, there is no charge for the food or wine tasting.

Columbelle Cotes de Gascone, France: With Foxfield coming up and the temperatures rising, we have found this little gem at a private, exclusive tasting. A blend of Columbard and Ugni Blanc, this wine is crisp and fresh displaying floral and fruity notes. Loads of grapefruit, mango and white peach. Perfect! $10.99

Can Feixes, Spain Green-gold. Mineral-accented lime, quince and white peach aromas display a refreshing dusty quality. Crisp, sharply focused and wonderfully pure, with vivid citrus and orchard fruit flavors braced by energetic minerality. Reminds me of a top-notch Muscadet on the impressively long, spicy finish. I love this style. $15.99

Enzo Boglietti Dolcetto D€šAlba, Italy: Saturated ruby. Bright aromas of black cherry, strawberry and licorice. Big and rich but juicy, with harmonious acidity and lively licorice and sassafras notes contributing to the impression of freshness. Serious wine with a broad, palate-coating texture, ripe tannins and excellent length. After all the upfront fruit, there’s an invigorating firmness on the back. $18.99

Pillar Box Red, Australia: This big red is from the famous Hendry€šs Drive people in Australia. A blend of Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot. This wine is always a rock star. Ridiculous quality and concentration for such a reasonable price. Dark black/purple color. Aromas of blackberries, cream, cocoa and vanilla. Pure and lush on the palate. Gobs of big inky fruit and the finish goes on and on. WOW $12.99
