The teenage rockers in The Wave have been gigging around town for years — longer than some of their adult peers, even — so you may have already heard their classic-rock-derived originals, but there are two recent changes you should know about:

• Original bassist Marsh Mahon has left the band after, well, growing up — because not everyone can be Peter Pan — and has been replaced by the marginally younger Simon Evans
• Guitarist and singer Willie Denton-Edmundson now wears a silly homemade mask and T-Pains his voice whenever they play “My Robot”

Other than that, it’s business as usual.
