The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Central Virginia, including Charlottesville and Albemarle County, at 2:50pm today that will be in effect until 10pm this evening.
Advise in related article” Get ready for tornado time” published in Feb may come in handy today. Last time a tornado tore through our neighborhood some major trees came down and several landed on houses –not a laughing matter
