UVA’s engineering school is getting a new information technology building in the form of Rice Hall, a six-story LEED-certified building next door to Scott Stadium and one which, UVA contends, Mr. Jefferson would have approved. It’s all part of UVA’s ongoing, $90-million building boom. (Photographed on game day, September 12.)

Well, they all do look alike, but that baby blue crane belongs to Miller & Long, a DC-based construction company. Miller & Theys was responsible for the other crane.
