10 Miler: Record # of runners, finishers
Write a letter to the editorThe 35th annual Charlottesville Ten Miler on Saturday saw a record number of entrants, at 2750, and a record numbers of finishers, at 2344, according to the running race’s organizers, who released the full results. Running vet Mark Lorenzoni tells the tale in the Progress— including the fact that the Olympic Gold winner Frank Shorter handed out the awards.
It was awesome out there - a perfect day for the runners and great cheering from everyone.
