news-wagnerCrozet-based professional baseball player Billy Wagner will retire at the end of the season to spend time with his family, the Atlanta Constitution reports. (The celebrated relief pitcher jumped from the Red Sox to the Braves since the Hook last reported on him.)

Hope he has a great season- he’s a very nice guy and has always been very supportive of the UVa baseball -all the best to Billy and his lovely family.
