This is how downtown looked a week ago: some clouds but no rain. Now, however, forecasters are predicting some rain beginning late Wednesday the 13th or early Thursday the 14th of October.

The City beat you to it this time Mr. Spencer- warning of a rainy Thursday. I was amazed to hear this announcement on Tuesday, must be some very assured weather forecasters.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA – Because of the solid forecast for heavy rain and wind on Thursday, the City of Charlottesville announced today that the 2010 Government Services Fair has been rescheduled to Friday. The original text follows: Some different interactive events are scheduled for this year’s expanded Government Services Fair on the Downtown Mall. The event will take place
