Debbie Hunter and MIRA perform the most badass Renaissance music program you’re likely to encounter this century:
In 1307, a special group of warrior priests called the Knights Templar, having gained more power than the pope and certain kings were comfortable with, were ambushed and practically wiped out. This happened on Friday the 13th, hence the lasting ‘superstition’ surrounding the bad luck. The program was prepared for the 700th anniversary of the ambush.
Highly recommended for fans of black metal, obviously.
